What makes Particle Fleet: Emergence different from other titles is the fact that the enemies have a form of a mass created from hundreds of particles flooding the screen. Their actions are controlled by an advanced physics engine which ensures that the particles correctly envelope the encountered objects.

More than two thousand of playable characters appear in Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence – Ascension.
