Just like the previous installments in the series, Football Manager 2022 allows you to play online in the Multiplayer mode. This means you can invite your friends into the game as you start your career, sharing the experience and the joy of playing with them.
How to create an online game?
After entering the main menu of Football Manager 2022, you must follow the instructions below:
- Select the Start a New Game option;
- Select the Online Career tile;
- Set your career preferences, thanks to which you can choose to make your game public or for friends only, as well as set the server name and the password;
- Choose a team (all potential Players should preferably be in the same league);
- Set up the database;
- Send a private invite to your friends after starting the game.

How to join an online game?
After entering the main menu of Football Manager 2022, you must follow the instructions below:
- Select the Join Online Game option;
- If you want to join a specific server enter its name in the search box;
- You can filter servers according to various criteria such as the game type and the number of Players;
- Select the server you want to join;
- Join the game.
