Gadgets in Fear the Wolves Fear the Wolves Guide and Tips
Last update: 28 August 2018
In Fear the Wolves, the player has the ability to choose additional modifications for specific rifles and pistols. Those include: sights, additional magazines and compensators. Each addition to the weapon increases its precision and allows you to use it more efficiently. Below you can find information about the gadgets that can be found in Feat the Wolves
Sights
The default sight of a weapon is not precise enough to be able to provide best support for the player in all battle conditions. Because of that fact, it is immensely important to properly adapt your weapons to fight the enemies more efficiently.
- Additional sights are not universal and they differ from one another in terms of performance and zooming capabilities. The best ones, giving you the highest zoom, can be mounted on most of the assault rifles and SMGs.
- Always remember to swap the sight when changing the main weapon.
Magazines
Additional magazines are extremely useful during fights in Fear the Wolves, especially when you are forced to use a weapon that can hold only 10 bullets in the main magazine. With more bullets in the mag than your opponent, you will be able to fire longer series, giving you an advantage that can affect the result of an encounter.
- Note - additional magazines are not universal. They are divided into weapon categories - those that can be installed in a pistol will not fit into an assault rifle.
- Always remember to swap the magazine when changing the main weapon.
- Some of the weapons have large clip sizes on their own - installing an additional magazine might not be necessary, but it is still a thing worth paying attention to.
Compensators
Compensators are mods that decrease the recoil of the weapon. With them you will be able to reduce the recoil after firing your weapon, giving you more control over it. You should always install a compensator on your best weapon.
- Note - compensators are not universal. They are divided into weapon categories - those that can be installed in a pistol will not fit into an assault rifle.
- Always remember to swap the compensator when changing the main weapon.
