The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. The best games for Switch coming in 2020

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2

  1. Release date: TBD
  2. Genre: adventure, action

Few games can single-handedly define the success of the console on which they appear. And that just makes Breath of the Wild even more amazing – the game was pivotal in Nintendo Switch' success, securing a triumph that Wii could only dream of (a platform, on which the game was also released... oh, the irony). A fresh look at the cult series and a redefinition of the approach to open-world game design resulted in Link's new adventures getting a cult following.

After such success, it is not really surprising that the announcement of a sequel to Breath of the Wild was met with great enthusiasm. Unfortunately, apart from the fact that it's being developed for the Switch, and both Link and Zelda appear in it, we don't know anything about it. Nintendo is silent and will probably not show the first details until this year's E3 show. Optimism, however, is warranted by reports from unofficial sources, according to which this title will be released this year.
