At first glance, Baldo looks like a spin-off of the Ni no Kuni series – with pleasant graphics taken straigth from the studio's iconic Ghibli animations, such as Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle. Created by the Naps Team Studio, the action-adventure game, in addition to the obvious inspiration, has nothing in common with either the famous animations or the popular jRPGs – it's a completely original game.
In Baldo, we will find ourselves in a fairy-tale land, in a dungeon, in which a long time ago, wise owls sealed a sinisterm heartless creature. According to the prophecy, the birth of a "pure child" should lead to the liberation of this evil being. Our task is to prevent the disaster. In terms of gameplay, the game is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda cycle, allowing you to freely explore a world full of traps, puzzles to solve, or opponents to defeat.
