We last heard about the new Indiana Jones game, which was only briefly teased, at the end of 2022, and we still don't have any details. The producer behind the game, none other than Todd Howard (best known for Fallouts), said back then that we can expect a mix of genres and an original story. Earlier leaks also suggested that it might be an FPP game. In any case, this is supposed to be a production that has been sprouting in the head of the creator for years, and he himself is a huge fan of this universe. The short video also revealed that the action will take us to Rome in 1937. The game is probably still far from finished, but some materials showing the main direction of this project could perhaps be presented already.

Why are we waiting?

If not now then when? The newest movie of the series with Harrison Ford is about to hit theaters, and if it's as bad as critics say, the in-game materials may be a consolation. Whatever the case will be, Indiana Jones usually had a lot of luck in the virtual entertainment industry. First in the great 2D LucasArts adventures, and then, imitating Tomb Raider in the still quite good Infernal Machine and The Emperor's Tomb. So Todd Howard is gonna give us another original story set in the time of the classic trilogy – there's a chance for a return to the good ol' Indiana!
