We're not sure if Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will appear at the Summer Game Fest, but considering the very close release date (August), it's probably high time to start advertising the game more broadly. After all, we're dealing with a series dating back to the 90s, when the subgenre of shooters in which we controlled a huge mech was extremely popular. Since we still can't count on another installment of Titanfall, Armored Core may fit well into the gap and attract new players who are not familiar with the older parts of this series.

Why are we waiting?

Putting aside the fact that it's a game with mechs, which we haven't experienced in a while, it's also the new game by FromSoftware studio. For many, this will be enough incentive, and besides, it will certainly be intriguing to see how the team fares in this classic genre in modern times. Although mechs and Armored Core are not new to them, the latest games in the series were released back in 2012. Later on, they focused solely on Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro or Elden Ring. It's easy to imagine that many fans of this last title, which sold an impressive 20 million copies, will reach for the game, even out of curiosity.
