Driving out of deep mud in heavy rain with a truck weighting a few tons is nothing compared to trying to keep up with the behind-the-scenes upheavals between Spintires and MudRunner. Althjough the former got a new expansion recently, introducing the Chernobyl area, Spintires MudRunner is now a slightly different game that will get a full-fledged sequel by 2020. And to further complicate the names (or clarify – we'll see), it will be called SnowRunner: A MudRunner Game.
Whether we'll drive through mud or snow isn't relevant. What counts is that we hop into vehicles that you can't drive in any other game and roam complete wilderness in them. This time, we will get to Alaska, among other places, where we'll encounter snow and ice. We will get various gadgets and improvements to the trucks, such as a winch, and the main attraction will be the ability to drive in a four-person cooperative.
It's for you if:
- you're tired of safety barriers, racetracks, and toying with model cars in Forza Horizon and Need for Speed;
- you're looking for a driving simulator with really good and advanced physics;
- you don't feel the need for speed; you have mud in your blood!
