Hollow Knight: Silksong

  1. Platforms: PC, Nintendo Switch
  2. Genre: 2D platformer
  3. Developer: Team Cherry

The second installment of the very warmly received Hollow Knight – anyone who's spent some time with the first one is probably impatiently waiting for the continuation – and anyone, who didn't bought it the first time is unlikely to change opinion now. The game is often called the Souls of platformers because of the extremely high level of difficulty. In exchange for our efforts, we will get beautiful artistic style, solid graphics and great music, with the soundtrack being composed by Chris Larkin again.

We can also hope for the return of complex levels in the style of metroidvania and as many as 150 new types of opponents. On top of that, we will get improved animations and a broader range of attacks, so that the experience is even more compelling. So if you like serious challenges, princess Hornet of the insect kingdom is awaiting your assistance. Unfortunately, we don't even know the approximate release date yet.

It's for you if:

  1. you liked the first part;
  2. you like old-school platformers;
  3. You're not afraid of high difficulty.
