After a tempestuous discussion with Hillbilly, go to the Paradox City center (left). There Rufus will talk with Rokko - ask him about everything you can, including the timepod in his garage. Notice also two time machines near the diner. Unfortunately, both are closed.

Then go to the farm (to the left). Talk with Mac and get into the farmhouse. You will find there Goal and... Goal. Talk with both of them. When Rufus will leave the house, he will notice that all the portals has disappeared (including the one which leaded to Kuvaq). Go back to the house.

From the table on the left take a hair brush. On the right you will find a pink stone sculpture. Take a battery-powered platypus which is standing near the sculptures. Leave the house. Being on your way to the city center, take a broken butter churn (near the farm building).

Now go towards the future (arrow in the bottom of the screen). Talk with architect and twice with builder who is reading future issue of 'Hats' magazine. He will give you it if you bring him the peanut butter sandwich. Throw the sculpture into the drill hole on the right. You will get a lump of stone (boulder)which will fall down near Rufus. Take it.

Turn on sirens which are warning about fewlocks. Now quickly run to the city center (left) and then to the Elysium Cluster (a passage between clock tower and the diner). You need to do this before the sirens alarm will end (the icon of hourglass on the top left).

Throw the battery-powered platypus inside the one of the bins (on the top left). It distracts the guard, so you can move the lever (on the left side of the tower) to lower the bridge. Go to the right and take piece of fewlock carcass (fewlock ribs). Go back to the center (to the left) and go to the diner. Talk with Rita (barmaid who really wants to get married), Ungh (who is collecting Neolithic sculptures), Vince (who will get Rufus for a ride with his time machine, but he need a portal map), with Old Maverick (who wants a fewlock soup, has got a great modern time machine and doesn't want to give a time machine key to Rufus), and with the young Maverick, who scared by Rufus, will knock off the bowl with fewlock soup. Now he need fewlock ribs to cook new soup.

Give him the ribs taken from the Elysium Cluster, in return you will get a bowl of fewlock soup. Put the hair from Goal's brush into the soup and give Old Maverick a soup with hair (if you give him a soup without a hair, you need to ask young Maverick for another bowl). As a result, both Mavericks will change their places, so talk with the young who is now sitting at the table. Tell him that the lights of his machine are turned on, you will get a time machine key.
