This guide page to Chernobylite contains a walkthrough of the Hacking into NAR servers quest. With this guide, you will successfully complete the task.

This quest can be activated on a random day, when Mikhail will call you through the radio station. During the conversation, he will ask you to hack the NAR servers. If you agree, you have to head to the Eye of Moscow.

Path to the radio station

After reaching the right location, you need to go to the building in the central part of the map [1] first. The path to it is not complicated, and you shouldn't encounter bigger groups of opponents along the way.

When you reach the building, you need to go upstairs - there is a radio station from which Mikhail will inform you about further objectives.

Virus

Your next objective is to get the NAR laptop and run the infected file. To do this, you have to go to the southern part of the area [2].

There is a tent, in the middle of which you will find the laptop. That's the one you need to interact with. However, this area is protected by a group of NAR soldiers. If you do not want to get into a fight, use the tall plants in the area - it is practically adjacent to the objective.

Deleting data

At the very end, the only things left is to get to the transmitter [3]. The route is simple - just take the road to the north. Along the way, you will only encounter two NAR soldiers threatening a man (unless you haven't intervened in this matter before). You have two options here - bypass the whole incident and let the man die, or eliminate the soldiers.

When you reach your destination, do not go through the gate immediately. There will be a group of NAR soldiers. Instead, wait a while. Then, Mikhail will distract the opponents, and you will be able to obtain the laptop without any problems.

Finally, you have to decide.:

1. delete data - it won't cause any effect;
2. searching the database - it will improve your relationship with Olivier and worsen with Mikhail. You'll also get a clue for the Conspiracy investigation.
