Chernobylite: Checkpoint Assault - walkthrough

One day, Sashko will talk to you and tell you his plan to attack the NAR checkpoint located in the vicinity of the Pripyat Port. The whole point is to find out what happened to your comrade's brother.

Diverting the military's attention

When you get there, Sashko will speak to you again and offer to distract the main station. To do this, you must go to the location indicated below. There is a small NAR squad - take them out and use the radio on the hood of the car.

Then head to the main station itself. After diverting the attention of the military, there will be only one opponent left. You can take him down quietly without any trouble. Take the uniform hanging on the car's door that was guarded by the soldier and go inside. You'll find information on Sashko's brother.

You can now decide what to do next. You can either let the brother go or you can disagree. Sashko won't be happy if you choose the latter.

If you chose the first option, then you need to go to the building next to the police station and stand at the indicated spot. When the military comes back, things can go like this:

1. if you saved Hermit during the quest of the same title, the man will appear now; if you decide to detonate, Sashko will be happy, but Mikhail will be angry with you;
2. if you didn't help the man during the Hermit quest, the detonation will only affect your relationship with Sashko;
3. if you decide not to blow up the station, your relationship with Sashko will deteriorate.
