Walkthrough
A task that often proves to be problematic. The new car is built from different parts (remember to buy the required parts rather than repeat the order seen in the previous jobs), while the suspension layout differs a little bit in comparison to the previous jobs. You can test the vehicle yourself by taking it to a Path Test - the Test Track is unavailable until you've bought and replaced the Oil Pan (V8).
Take a look at the engine and remove the radiator and its cover, then lift the car on one of the lifts. The chassis, steering system, and certain parts of the powertrain are damaged - skip the brakes, as these are in a good condition. Replacing the parts shouldn't be difficult - almost all of the contracted elements are heavily rusted, while the rest of the car is in a decent condition - the damaged parts are clearly visible. Nevertheless, there are two things that are easily missed - you have to disassemble the shock absorbers and replace the Absorber Caps (nr.1 on your parts list) as well as two front rims. Remove the tires and use the computer to buy the following model: Modern 06, size 20' (ET:0) (front). Finish up by performing an oil drain and replace it with a new one.
Time to take care of the body. Visit the shop dedicated to body parts and input the name of the vehicle into the browser in the upper right part of the screen to display all parts for the given make. Consult your list and buy the parts detailed in the list at the beginning of this chapter. You also need to buy a front license plate which can be found in a different shop (that offers license plates exclusively). Choose any plate that you see fit.
Use the white outlines to install the required body fragments. Sadly, some of the outlines can disappear when shadowing at a solid object - check for each element individually.
Install the parts by approaching the vehicle and choosing Assembly Mode from the wheel menu. All missing parts are lit in white. You may experience some problems with seeing the outlines of the missing windows. Don't forget about the rear license plate (very easy to miss).
