How to quickly get experience? | Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 FAQ Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 Guide
Last update: 02 July 2019
To unlock new skills in Car Mechanic Simulator 2018, you need to level up your character. To do this, you need a sufficient number of experience points. This chapter will tell you how to get them quickly.
In order to quickly get experience, you must simply complete orders without paying attention to single points that you receive by mounting/dismounting or examining parts. By default, you get a little bit more than 100 points per order, regardless of its difficulty or number of changed parts (however, this has an impact on the amount of money that you get). Because of that you should choose orders that you can quickly complete. Those orders are:
- Changing oil and filters;
- Repairing exhaust system - you can do it very quickly and it is easy to detect faults without using diagnosis tools;
- Repairing gearbox / clutch - just like with brakes, you should get a few sets of clutches because usually you need to change the entire part; you can repair gearboxes in your workshop (they are rather expensive). However, you should try to choose cars with front-wheel or four-wheel drive - you can reach gearboxes and clutches faster;
- Repairing the braking system - here, you can get additional supplies of calipers, pads, disks and drums because most of repairs are based on those parts;
- Changing bodywork elements - not very cost-effective; there is a risk that some parts of old cars won't be available in the shop.
