What is Battlerite? | Basics Battlerite Guide

Battlerite is a game by Stunlock studio, which combines elements of MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) and action. Matches are played on special arenas, where teams of 2 or 3 players fight against each other. Each player first selects one Hero, depending on their preferences or the needs of the team, and steps into battle. Gameplay is very dynamic, so there is no time for boredom, and most actions should be done intuitively, because there is rarely time to think your next move through - it is better to suffer consequences of a failed action than regret not having done everything you could to secure a victory for your team.
Apart from the standard currency (Battle Coins), which you can spend on drop boxes, and Tokens needed for crafting cosmetic items (e.g. extra skins or weapons), there are microtransactions too in the game - for real money you can purchase boxes, which may contain extra icons, character skins or collector's weapons sets.
Combat system in Battlerite is arcade at the core. You control your avatar using WSAD keys and the mouse. Gameplay is viewed in top-down perspective, thanks to which the player can always see a large portion of map. Both controls and UI are further discussed below.
