Battlerite currently offers 6 game modes - Game Modes | Basics - Basics of gameplay - Battlerite Game Guide

Battlerite currently offers 6 game modes. They all are very similar and only differ in the number of Heroes in each team. Here are the game modes:

Tutorial

Every beginner should check this out first. Tutorial is a good introduction into the basics of gameplay in Battlerite, teaches you how to use skills effectively, and explains characters' mechanics.

Training

In this mode you can polish your skills before heading to battle against AI-controlled or living opponents. The training arena contains wooden dummies deployed in such a manner that you can practice different variants of attacks and skills. Among other things there are shooting dummies and the ones that move in circles.

2 vs. 2

In this game mode each team consists of 2 Heroes. Both can contain the same kind of Hero and the composition of teams is not limited - e.g. this can be 2 melee warriors against 2 ranged characters. Players fight on a random map. Each round lasts 2 minutes and it takes 3 won rounds to win an entire game. Before each round all players select an extra Battlerite talent, which may turn the tides of the game.

3 vs. 3

This mode is no different from the 2 vs. 2 described above. The only difference is the number of players - 3 per each team. More Heroes means more varied combinations of teams. You can tell that this mode is a bit more dynamic.

Against AI

In this game mode the player can fight against Bots. Fighting Bots is good for learning the mechanics of individual Heroes. There are three difficulty levels.

Private

You can also host your own game on a map of your choice and invite friends to it. Or you can create a match against Bots, that is AI-controlled enemies.
