Lucie

Lucie has ambitions to become the worlds greatest alchemist - Support Heroes - Heroes and their characteristics - Battlerite Game Guide

Lucie has ambitions to become the world's greatest alchemist. She knows well which ingredients to mix in order to poison an opponent, scare them or slow them down, but also heal allies. Arena is a perfect place for Lucie to try out new concoctions.

Hints

  • Toxic Bolt is Lucie's basic attack. She fires toxic bolts, which hurt opponents and inflict Toxic effect on them. This effect lasts 6 seconds and restores each time Lucie hits the target. Toxic bolts are excellent for neglecting the opponent's active healing effects. Note that Toxic cannot kill a Hero. It can reduce their health to 1 hit point, but will never finish them off.
  • Healing Potion is a skill, which Lucie uses to heal her allies, as befits a Support Hero. Healing Potion also puts Revive effect on the target, so that they receive a small portion of health over time. Interestingly, this skill has no cooldown, so you can spray it whenever necessary.
  • Barrier is another defensive skill that can keep Lucia or her allies alive. This skill's cooldown is 10 seconds, so be careful as to when you use the protective shield.
  • Clarity Potion is a typical cleanse. Lucie throws a concoction of her making, which knocks back the opponents around the explosion, but also removes all positive effects from them. The explosion also cleanses your allies from negative effects. This skill can be useful when your ally has been caught in a trap and is affected by some sort of movement impairing effect. Throwing enemies back and cleansing an ally can help them escape.
  • Panic Flask makes enemies flee in terror. It works great for putting enemy support characters out of play. Remember not to attack the Hero affected by it, because their taking damage can stop Panic. In combat it is best to put it on one opponent and deal with another.
  • Roll is a dodging skill. This is Lucie's only mobile skill, and unfortunately it has a really long cooldown. Lucie's movement speed while rolling is really high, she can use it to dodge incoming projectiles or charging opponents. It also comes in handy if you want to get closer to a running opponent or deal a finishing strike.
  • Crippling Goo is a real chemical bomb. Lucie has designed a toxic concoction which affects a very large area. The explosion deals immediate damage, plus it creates a pool of toxin, which slows down opponents and deals damage over time. This skill is useful for keeping opponents in a distance, e.g. when you are trying to get an orb together with a teammate.

Sirius

Sirius is another Support Hero - Support Heroes - Heroes and their characteristics - Battlerite Game Guide

Sirius is another Support Hero. He uses the energy of stars to cast destructive or healing spells. Some of his skills require him to be close to his target, which may expose him to damage.

Hints

  • Crescent Strike is Sirius's basic attack. It deals damage within 180 degrees in front of him. The weapon has long reach, but it can only hit 1 target at a time. It is noteworthy that every 8 seconds Sirius's weapon is charged and his basic attack deals increased damage as well as weakens the opponent, thus lowering their combat strength and healing effects.
  • Sunlight is one of this Hero's healing skills. Sirius creates a wave of light, which strikes a selected area and heals one ally within it. If there are 2 or 3 targets within Sunlight only the character closest to the center of the circle gets healed.
  • Celestial Split is an universal skill, which can help Sirius escape or make a strong entry. Sirius becomes a wave of light and moves toward target location. When the skill is active he is immaterial and cannot be hit. After materializing back in target location he creates a shock wave which deals damage to opponents and knocks them back as well as heals allies.
  • Sunrise is a countering skill, which can also help the character take a desirable position. Sunrise counters the first attack that hits Sirius and lets him choose a place where he gets teleported to. This way, you can quickly get to an opponent attacking you from afar. Moreover, Sunrise also charges the weapon, so that the next attack deals increased damage.
  • Lunar Strike petrifies opponents within its range. Unfortunately Lunar Strike has a long casting time, so it can easily be avoided. If, however, you manage to use it effectively, it can remove an opponent from the fight for quite a long time, making it possible for you to deal with another target. It's good to use this skill right before your Hero, when you see that a melee fighting character is approaching.
  • Prismatic Strike is a so-called gap closer, which allows your character quickly get close to your target. Sirius moves toward an opponent and strikes them with his weapon dealing damage and rooting them. Remember that this skill has two stages: short slide and then an attack. The slide itself does not deal any damage.
  • Astral Beam is this Hero's ultimate skill. Sirius creates a cone of light, which he points in target direction, dealing damage to all targets in range as well as healing allies. Keep in mind that changing the direction of the cone takes a lot of time, so before using it you should make sure that opponents have used up their means of escape.

Oldur

Oldur is a mystical creature able to bend time and space to his own purpose - Support Heroes - Heroes and their characteristics - Battlerite Game Guide

Oldur is a mystical creature able to bend time and space to his own purpose. He can heal even the heaviest wounds and neutralize enemy attacks. Thanks to his unique skills Oldur is an invaluable support for any team.

Hints

  • Sand of Time is Oldur's basic attack. He fires projectiles that hurt enemies and inflict Sand of Time effect on them, which deals extra damage over time. One target can only have one Sand of Time on himself, so it is a good idea to attack different targets and thus maximize damage.
  • Rejuvenating Sand enables Oldur to heal either himself or his allies. It is enough to click somewhere around the target so they get healed - it is an area effect. The only condition is that the target has to be within Oldur's line of sight.
  • Shifting Sands lets Oldur move quickly toward a selected direction. This is useful while making a run for it. Use this skill carefully, because it has a long cooldown.
  • Time Bender is a countering skill. Oldur creates a shield that knocks back an attacker who hits it with a melee attack. The shield can also absorb an incoming projectile, which Oldur can then fire toward target direction.
  • Quicksand is a skill that deals area damage. Oldur throws his hourglass, which deals area damage on hitting the ground. Interestingly, if a target is inflicted by the Sand of Time debuff, the explosion consumes the effect and the enemy takes immediate damage, letting you put this debuff on them again.
  • Stone Glass is a quick strike that inflicts Petrify on target. Moreover, it knocks the target back. It is helpful when you have to deal with a melee character. Knockback and Paralyse can buy you some time to get away on a safe distance from the opponent.
  • Time Travel lets Oldur become completely unhittable for a brief moment, then he appears in a target location and Stuns all targets nearby. A Hero inflicted by Time Travel effect has all their cooldowns accelerated by 25%. Interestingly, this skill can be used on any ally, so that you can help someone make a quick escape or make an impact on entering melee fight.

Pearl

Pearl is a sage able to control the element of water and aquatic creatures - Support Heroes - Heroes and their characteristics - Battlerite Game Guide

Pearl is a sage able to control the element of water and aquatic creatures. Pearl can turn water into a deadly force, healing breeze, or protective bubbles. All these skills make her an excellent support character.

Hints

  • Volatile Water is Pearl's main attack. She sends damaging stream of water toward a target. The damage is even greater when Pearl's staff is charged, which is done by using this skill while holding Shift button. Note, however, that this will take one segment of the energy bar.
  • Healing Wave is one of her healing skills. Pearl sends a wave toward an ally, which heals them in 0.45 seconds. In order to use that effectively you should keep close to an ally so to accelerate cooldown of Healing Wave.
  • Dive enables Pearl to make a quick escape. Pearl creates a small pool of water, where she dives and emerges in a target location. This skill lets Pearl teleport herself to another side of a wall, giving her extra time for regrouping while in the heat of combat.
  • Tidal Wave is a countering skill. The first melee or projectile attack absorbed by Tidal Wave makes the water shield explode around Pearl and knocks back nearby targets. Moreover, Pearl also gets healed. This is good counter when you know that you are about to take a hit. Using this in the very center of an arena woudn't do any good, since no opponent would attack you then.
  • Bubble Barrier is the most useful of Pearl's skills. The Heroine creates a huge bubble at target location, which slows all projectiles that go through it as well as enemies inside. This is excellent for keeping opponents at a distance. You can use Bubble Barrier to force an opponent to chose a certain path, which will help your teammates aim at them. Always try to put the bubble between your ranged ally and an opponent, in order to provide extra protection.
  • Bubble Shield is a protective shield that can be used either on Pearl or any of her allies. The shield absorbs damage and removes all negative effects from target.
  • Jaws is Pearl's Ultimate Skill. The Heroine summons a huge water creature who swallows enemies in target location. After a short while it spits them out at target location. This skill is useful for removing one or two enemies out of combat, so that you could focus on one target.

Poloma

Poloma is a psychopomp able to control dead animals spirits - Support Heroes - Heroes and their characteristics - Battlerite Game Guide

Poloma is a psychopomp able to control dead animals spirits. She fights side by side with her brave companion Toki. She is able to use her unique skills for crowd control, by infusing negative effects on them.

Hints

  • Soul Bolt is Poloma's basic attack, which can both damage and heal. With it she can create a bond between opponents or allies. The bonding between opponents deals extra damage, while bonding between two allies does extra healing. For example, when two enemies standing close to each other are hit with Soul Bolt, a bond will be created between them. Now, when you attack one of them, the other takes damage too. When three opponents are bound, this is a bit different. In that case, when you attack the target in the center the other two take damage as well, but if you attack one of the enemies on the edges, only their immediate neighbor will take damage (the one in the center). The downside of this skill is that in order to heal an ally you must hit them directly, and because of this positioning is essential.
  • Other Side sends Poloma into the spirit realm making her immaterial. In that state Poloma gains movement speed bonus and becomes invulnerable to damage, plus she is able to penetrate other Heroes (both enemies and allies). This skill is a great tool for making a quick escape or taking a favorable position. Other Side can be used on an ally for the same effect.
  • Spirit Guide lets Poloma summon a spirit and send it in a target direction. All enemies on the spirit's way get knocked back and take damage. If it is an ally on the way, they get healed. This can be cast again to teleport Poloma to the spirit. While teleporting she becomes unhittable, which is good to keep in mind.
  • Spirit Rift is a countering skill. When activated, it counters the first skill used on it by an opponent. If the counter is successful, the attacker is inflicted by Panic debuff. This is useful when you are suddenly attacked by a melee character.
  • Ghost Wolf summons a Ghost Wolf, which runs to a target direction and can hit up to 3 enemies at once. Interestingly, it immediately creates a bond between targets, which make them share damage.
  • Pixie summons a fairy, who mimics Poloma's main attack Soul Bolt. Pixie's attacks deal less damage and restore less health. This is useful for maximizing damage.
  • Ancestral Spirit is Poloma's Ultimate Skill. The Heroine summons an Ancestral Spirit, who deals damage to enemies upon spawning and puts Fading Snare on them as well as heals allies in range. After 2 seconds the spirit disappears creating a shock wave that hurts enemies badly. Also note that when Ancestral Spirit is active, Poloma is briefly sent to the spirit realm, which makes her invulnerable. Keep that in mind in the heat of battle.
