Alfred hints that Harvey, as the district attorney, should have known earlier that the residence will be searched through. You have to meet with him and clear this up.

4.3 Selina

The action moves to Cafe Triste, where you find Harvey. You hand him the warrant, and wait for his reaction.

Regardless of your answer, Harvey asks you to calm down and speak to him. He is surprised that the mayor has given the warrant, and assures you that he didn't know.

No matter the answer, Dent will disclose that you can't openly engage in the subject, because it can worsen Bruce's image and hurt the election campaign.

It turns out that Harvey was waiting for somebody. A woman appears that Bruce instantly recognizes because the bruising under her eye. Selina is the Catwoman. To make things worse, Selina notices the scratch on Bruce's cheek, and quickly realizes that he is the Batman.

Harvey hasn't mentioned you.

Selina discloses that her client is going to be furious when he learns that she lost the item that she was supposed to give to him. She states that in her work, people often become furious when something doesn't go their way.

Selina broaches the subject of the press conference and Bruce's trouble. Harvey takes his phone and calls his people to investigate the situation. You are left alone with the Catwoman.

Regardless of your answer, the woman is interested in the motives that guide you in the fight against evil.

In the further part of the conversation, Selina will remind you that you have something that belongs to her, and she wants it back.

Dialogue options:

Who hired you?

Sounds important.

Choosing any of the answers doesn't have any significance for the story. Selina will imply that if she doesn't bring the disc in time, she will be in serious trouble, and then she will take you with her.

Dialogue options:

No I don't.

Selina will remember that.

I can help you.

Selina will remember that.

You don't need me.

Selina will remember that.

...

 

Regardless of the answer, a quarrel ensues. You demand that Selina give you the address that she was supposed to bring the stolen item.

Dialogue options:

Please, Selina.

You need to trust me.

Don't piss me off.

By choosing any of the above answers, you make the woman write the address of the delivery. When Harvey arrives, you explain to him that you are in a rush, and quickly go your way.

4.4 Investigation

The next section of the chapter relies heavily on investigating individual components, and assembling them in a coherent whole. You will need a keyboard for most of the actions. As a default in such situations, you use W/A/S/D keys for movement.

Once you arrive to the coast, it turns out that it is suspiciously quiet. To investigate the situation, you have to get inside the warehouse.

You will find industrial palettes and a dead policeman there, but these objects won't play any major role in your investigation.

Now return to the entry point, the area which can be seen on the above screenshot. This time, proceed to the right edge of the screen.

Along with the assessment of the head injuries, Bruce will attempt to remove the bullet from the officer's head. To target the bullet, use WASD buttons. When the device will find it, its end will flash in a red color. Click LMB and remove the bullet.

After finding a still living mercenary, you have to force him to explain the reasons for the ensuing situation.

Regardless of the chosen approach, the mercenary won't tell you anything. Following the lack of cooperation, you employ less sophisticated methods. You tie him and suspend him head down on the line.

At this point, you can choose the way to make the mercenary talk. You can choose following elements:

Face - serious damage

Ribs - medium damage

Barrel - intimidate

In every case, the prisoner will tell the same, so if you want to avoid suspicions from the police, try to deal the least damage possible.

Once the prisoner confesses, you move forward with the interrogation. Click on his hand, and Batman will try to break it. As a result of pain, the mercenary will reveal further information, and swears that he doesn't know anything else. Here, you have two possibilities:

Regardless of your choice, you won't receive any additional information from him, so everything depends on what type of image do you want to project.

The interrogation will be interrupted by the arrival of the police. Here, you have a choice.

If you stay in the warehouse, you can give the acquired information to Gordon. Depending on how badly you injured the mercenary, the police can be more suspicious.

If you decided to escape, you will avoid the confrontation with the police, and the responsibility for injuring the prisoner.
