Last update: 26 September 2016

Chapter begins with a short scene, in which we proceed to Cobblepot park for a meeting with Oswald.

3.1 Cobblepot Park

Once you begin the chapter, you will see the above screenshot - Chapter 3 - Meet the Press | Walkthrough - Episode 1: Realm of Shadows - Batman: The Telltale Games Series Game Guide

Once you begin the chapter, you will see the above screenshot. In this part of the episode, you can once again investigate your surroundings thoroughly. From this perspective, you can investigate the graffiti, a newspaper and the park's signboard, which will be available once you get on the stairs. You walk using WASD buttons.

Once you investigate all elements, enter the park. You will find a beggar, to whom you can throw some money, or just look at him, and a burning barrel. Once you enter the park's courtyard, you will notice an overturned shopping cart and a man smoking a cigarette. Behind the statue, you will find a memorial board and another graffiti. The interactions won't make any changes to the story, so you can proceed straight to the statue, which can be seen in the central part of the courtyard.

Once you interact, it turns out that the man who smoked a cigarette decided to rob you. As this wasn't enough, he is not alone. The attackers surround you, demanding your wallet and all valuables.

Dialogue options:

Just walk away.

I've got nothing.

Try and take it.

...

No matter the chosen option, the attackers won't give up an apparently easy haul. The moment they decide to attack you, Oz appears. He distracts the bandits, and incapacitates one of them with quick hits. The second one attacks you.

[Action] A combination of single hits, which are supposed to incapacitate the enemy. For a moment, you look in the direction of Oswald, who knocks out the second attacker, in the meantime your enemy reaches for a gun. You are able to disarm him quickly, and Oswald chases them out of the park.[End of the action]

3.2 Oswald

After a victorious fight, Oswald will be proud of himself.

Dialogue options:

You went too far.

I had it handled.

Thanks for the help.

...

Regardless of your choice, in the latter part of the conversation, Oz will refer to your shared past, and will be sad about what happened with the park, which at some point was a place of your games.

Dialogue options:

This is a shame.

Oz will remember that.

You're right.

Oz will remember that.

The place is a wreck.

Oz will remember that.

...

Further into the conversation, Oswald reminisce about his parents, and points to irony, that his family disappeared while yours had grown wealthy - Chapter 3 - Meet the Press | Walkthrough - Episode 1: Realm of Shadows - Batman: The Telltale Games Series Game Guide

Further into the conversation, Oswald reminisce about his parents, and points to irony, that his family disappeared while yours had grown wealthy.

Dialogue options:

I lost my parents too.

I'm sorry, Oswald.

That's how things are.

...

The answer won't have any influence over the course of the plot, and Oswald will quickly refer to the presence of Carmine Falcone at the party held by you.

Dialogue options:

That's just politics.

He wasn't invited.

It's not what u think.

...

After voicing his disgust for Falcone, Oswald will reveal to you that he wanted to meet in order to warn you about a revolution, which is about to begin in Gotham. However, his statement has such overtone, as if he wanted to let you know that you may be one of the victims.

Dialogue options:

I'm not your enemy.

Oz will remember this.

Is that a threat?

Oz will remember this.

You won't win this battle.

Oz will remember this.

...

Your response won't have any effect in the present moment, but it will be remembered. No matter what response you've chosen, Oswald will remind you to stand for the right side, when the revolution will begin, and then leaves.

At the same moment, you'll receive a message from Alfred, who reminds you of a press conference, which you ought to attend.

3.3 The press conference

Your arrival to the press conference concerning the founding of a facility, which will replace Arkham caused a large commotion between the present reporters. Once you leave the car, you will move in the direction of the podium, while the reporters make a lot of photos.

Options:

[Ignore them]

Good morning!

Enough photos.

...

Regardless of your reaction, the reporters won't back down, and continue making photos. You step up to the podium, where you can find Harvey in the presence of other people involved into the creation of the hospital.

During Harvey's speech, you receive a text message from Alfred.

Options:

:Whats up?:

:Not now:

[Ignore Text]

...

If you decide to answer, Alfred will inform you that he has to speak with you as quickly as possible. At the same time, Dent finishes his speech and asks you for a few words for the press. In this part of the chapter, you can modify the speech at will, using the dialogue options below.

Crime is rampant.

My parent would be honored.

The sick need our help.

...

A terrible lesson.

It won't happen again.

My hope is in Harvey.

...

The dialogue option connected with Dent can vary, depending on what slogan we had chosen for Dent at the beginning of the previous chapter.

At the end of the speech, it is time for the journalists - Chapter 3 - Meet the Press | Walkthrough - Episode 1: Realm of Shadows - Batman: The Telltale Games Series Game Guide

At the end of the speech, it is time for the journalists. Vicki Vale will ask what will happen with Arkham once the new hospital is open.

Dialogue options:

Leave it standing.

They will remember this.

Tear it down.

They will remember this.

Its day has passed.

They will remember this.

...

The next question concerns the visit from Carmine Falcone in your residence.

Dialogue options:

Falcone's no friend.

He was Harvey's guest.

It's a free country.

...

Regardless of your answer, you will receive another text message from Alfred.

Options:

[Read text]

[Ignore]

If you decide to read the message, you'll learn that the police is in the residence.

To make matters worse, one of the reporters points to the evidence, which says that Thomas Wayne and Falcone had access to a joint bank account, which received funds from illegal enterprises.

Dialogue options:

How dare you!

I doubt your "evidence".

...

Regardless of your answer, an unusual agitation arises between the journalists, and they start to overwhelm you with questions.

Dialogue options:

Your source is wrong.

This interview is over.

That's absurd.

...

Despite your answer, you are still attacked with accusations. Harvey attempts to calm the journalists down, and you receive a phone call. Alfred informs you that police is already in the building.

This ends the next chapter of the story.
