Arcania: Gothic 4 Game Guide

This is an unofficial guide to the Arcania: Gothic 4 game. You will here a very detailed description of all quests (main and some less important, side quests). The whole text is divided in three main sections:

First chapter that will present you description of all main quests that you have to complete if you want to successfully end the single player campaign. Note, that some of these quests can be completed in many ways and all of them are described here.

Second chapter will present you all side quests. You do not have to complete them but it is advised to do so in order to achieve many EXP point and some valuable items.

Third chapter of this guide contains information about all the secrets (ancient relics, Beliar artifacts, Innos statues and forgotten graves) that can be found during four different quests.

In all chapters you will find some useful maps - they will help you in finding some places mentioned in the text.

A short manual of how to use this guide:

1) Every quest has some informations about a quest giver and possible rewards that can be achieved for completing it (including EXP points).

2) To find a quest, you have to pick a proper chapter of this guide. If you want to learn something about one of the main quests, then you have to search somewhere in the first chapter (Main quests). Then you have to search for a proper area (for example South Stewark). The game is quite linear and you shouldn't have any problems in finding your position.

3) Addition marks (M11, 5) refer to map included in the chapter. In this example, you have to find a map with mark M11 and look for the number 5.

4) In addition sometimes you will find some colored descriptions. Red text refer to NPCs and monsters, blue color means that we are talking about places, green - normal items and orange - special items (potions, scrolls, recipes, planes, runes, etc.).

Good luck!
