List of secrets
In The Tower stage you can find 9 secrets:
- Hank's Notes x1
- Cylinder x1
- Matches x7
Trying to use the elevator in the tower
When you reach the tower, go to the adjacent room. You'll see the doctor escaping with Amari in the left elevator. You have to get to the right elevator. Enter it and use the lever to activate the elevator. Unfortunately, it will soon stop. You will need to restore power.
The elevator puzzle
You cannot exit the elevator through its main door. Look at the ceiling and interact with the panel to reveal the hatch. Use the small ladder.
Find a ventilation shaft grate on the elevator roof. Tear it out and go left to find a matchbook. Now choose the right passage leading to the next chambers.
Reach the new grate - tearing it out will allow you to exit the ventilation shaft. In the new room you will find matches x2:
- on one of the shelves covered with a cube-shaped object,
- in a small box lying on the table.
Move on and watch the flashback along the way. In one of the next areas, you will be able to examine the red-lit room on the right. There is a secret in it - Cylinder: Last Hope (this is the last item of this type in the game). Pick it up to unlock the Curator trophy.
Exit the red room and head towards the blue one. In that room, you will find a matchbook as well as the collectible shown in the picture - Hank's Notes: Hank Mitchell (this is the last secret from this category). If you have collected the previous ones, you will get the Crewmember achievement.
Optionally, you can also see your (mutated) reflection by looking into the fountain. This is the second opportunity to get the Narcissist trophy. It was also possible to get it in The Fortress chapter.
Reach the exit from the room where you have to open the broken door. Go down the stairs (another flashback) and find the matchbook on one of the small shelves.
You can also find matches x2 - in a dark room on a shelf with large cubes, and in one of the stone blocks on the floor (you will need to remove the lid).
Reach a new door with a side mechanism - interact with it to unlock the passage. You will find a corpse. Use the ladder to go down to the lower floor.
You will reach the room with the elevator generator. First, check out the bars separating the left and right parts of the room. In the place shown in the picture, you can pull out a few rods to create a hole.
Take the cable out of the left slot shown in picture 1. You have to put it in the hole from picture 2, the one you created by removing a few bars.
Finally, you have to put the dragged cable in the right slot shown in the picture above. This will restore the power to the right elevator (from the beginning of the chapter). Hank will appear behind the bars, but you don't have to perform any interactions or listen to the entire conversation.
Return to the elevator and reach the throne room
Now you have to go in the opposite direction, i.e. to the place where the elevator took you at the beginning of the level. Watch out on the long stairs - a ghost will appear. Do not try to hide in one of the nearby corridors, because you can be easily detected by the ghost there. Go back to the larger room and wait for the ghost to pass by Tasi - sneak behind its back.
Use the stairs after going through a few smaler rooms (the picture above). You will reach the door that you can unlock from this side.
Enter the elevator on the right one more time and pull the lever. After reaching the upper floor, use the large passage to the Throne Room, where you will face the goddess and choose the ending.
