The answer to the question is not quite simple. During the game, we have several non-linear aspects of gameplay - different things, the ability to issue different judgments or choices that also define gameplay to some extent. Very often we have a great sense of freedom, and it really is up to us what we do in many, key moments of the story.

On the other hand, however, our choices and their consequences slowly push us to a single scenario. What we do with some characters and how we conduct the story does not really matter that much. Eventually, we'll face the same dilemmas in the game and will have to fight for power with the same characters.

However, in some moments, we can slightly change the plot of the game by opting for a different choice, however, in the end, the key choices are always the same, and the style of our gameplay is not as important as it may seem at the beginning.
