The chapter below contains a walkthrough for the day one of Act 1 in We. The Revolution.
Guy Deniau is accused of robbery and property damage. The first case also contains a new factor - on the top of the screen, you'll notice two icons that symbolize the sentence expected by the given social group. Heart is for the family, fist - common folk, while flag symbolizes Revolutionaries.
Moreover, on the left side of the accused you'll find a penalty suggested by the jury. Constant disagreement with jury's verdict can lead to severe consequences.

Correct questions:

- Anti-revolutionary propaganda + Counterrevolution
Verdict: The family and common folk demand a prison sentence for the accused, while revolutionaries demand acquittal. Aside from the above, the case does not yield any consequences in the future.
Time after the case
After the case, you can decide for the first time what to do about the promise you've made. You can go with Jacques Louis David to play dice, or return home. If you've chosen to go for dice, your relations with your family will decrease a bit.
From now on, from time to time you'll be able to decide how to spend your free time. Better relations with your family result in certain bonuses, while preparing for the case facilitates it and gives more bonuses for questions directed to the accused.
