UnderRail is a cRPG type game set in a post-apocalyptic world. This product resembles the Fallout series a bit, so fans of the game will surely be fond of UnderRail. It is the debut of Stygian Software studio. The action is set in the future, after a cataclysm that destroyed life on Earth. Only a bunch of people survived, hidden underground, in a former tube station. The whole structure has nine floors with different research center or living quarters on every one of them. The player impersonates a survivor that gets involved into a conflict between the factions that exist in the world of UnderRail. The factions fight with each other to obtain a mysterious item that is supposed to be humanity's last hope.

The graphics in the game resemble the nineties and we view the action from an isometric camera. When exploring the world, you will visit underground caves, corridors and buildings with quite a lot of enemies. The fight is played in turns and there are a lot of different weapons (from knives through maces, pistols to crossbows) and armors (from light to heavy) to use. There are also things like magnetic shields, parapsychic and psychokinetic abilities that the player can learn during the gameplay. You can develop your character in many different ways, so if you want to become a stereotypic warrior or a mage, feel free! You can also become a shooter or a rogue, who avoids open fights and waits hidden in the dark. There are a lot of possibilities, so every player will find something that suits them. Thanks to crafting, you can create potions, gadgets and pieces of equipment that you need.
