The Folktails and the Iron Teeth from Timberborn differ not only in the appearance of the beavers. Each faction has unique buildings that can make the gameplay look very different.

Folktails

The most important difference between Folktails and Iron Teeth is the way they reproduce. Folktails need housing to have their offspring. In order for a baby beaver to be born, there should be a free space in one of the houses. There are also several facilities for socializing, which will increase the fertility of your colony.

Iron Teeth

The Iron Teeth have a special type of building, a Breeding pod, where baby beavers are born. The process of developing a new beaver takes 5 days and requires 5 units of food and water.

The development cannot be accelerated, but the Breeding pod has a useful function to halt the process. This way you can stop the hatching process at the end of the beaver's development and then resume to create a new colony member immediately.

Residential buildings in this case have only one function - they add points to the overall satisfaction of the colony.
