This chapter contains our walkthrough for the Waterside workshop, one of the locations in The Witness. Here, you can find a general description of this region as well as locations of the puzzles. If you are looking for solutions to the puzzles, check out Puzzle solutions.

Follow the path from the fort. You will reach the passage between two rocks. Climb onto the one on the left and from there, onto the rooftop of the workshop. On the rooftop, you find another arrow puzzle.

Climb down and approach the main door. In this part of the isle, puzzles will require you to draw out two paths simultaneously. If you guide them up or down, they will move in the same direction. If you guide the lines to the sides, they will move in the opposite directions. Paths cannot cross and, after they reach the same spot, they will block each other. You need to guide both to finishing points.

Inside, you find three sets of puzzles connected with a cable. Your task is to solve them all, which supplies power to the rock. While solving it, you will encounter several difficulties. Firstly, just like in the case of the fort, some of the puzzles will have you solve a maze. Secondly, some of them have several finishing points, with only two reachable. Thirdly, one of the puzzles is on molten glass, which makes it more difficult to solve it. Apart from that, all of the puzzles are relatively easy to solve.

In workshop, you also find a switch to summon the boat with. You have no use for it, for the time being, but remember where you found it.
