Important choice #1

Your first important choice in this chapter will take place during your conversation with Kate and David. You can tell David to knock it off, taking Kate's side, or let it go, as it's a matter between a husband and a wife.

  • Tell him off - Defend Kate and tell David to knock it off.
  • Let it go - Remain uninvolved.

Just like in real life, coming in between a husband and a wife never ends good for both sides. If you choose the first option, both characters - David and Kate alike will be irritated by your action, which may have consequences in the future.

Important choice #2

Your second important choice is at the beginning of the second chapter - Important choices | Episode 2 - Episode 2: Ties that Bind - Part 2 - The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier Game Guide

Your second important choice is at the beginning of the second chapter. You'll have to decide whether to shoot the aggressors standing in front of the gate, or take the risk and hand yourself over to them.

  • I'm coming down! - Go down and do as they say.
  • [Open fire] - Shoot them.

If you choose the first or the second option, you'll agree on the terms the aggressors offer. Both will end with a shootout though, the only difference being who'll be the first one to shoot. Options 1 and 2 will result in Clementine opening fire; in option 3, you'll be one to pull the trigger. In both cases Francine will be killed and Prescott destroyed.

The third important choice is in the fourth chapter of this episode. After you've talked to the stranger, you'll have to decide whether to tie him up, or trust him.

The choice is completely insignificant, because even if you do tie up Paul, he will free himself during the walker attack and help Gabe fend them of.

The fourth, and the most important choice of this episode takes place in the fifth chapter - Important choices | Episode 2 - Episode 2: Ties that Bind - Part 2 - The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier Game Guide

The fourth, and the most important choice of this episode takes place in the fifth chapter. You have to decide whether to shoot Conrad, saving Gabe and Clementine, or to accept his plan to hand over Clementine in exchange for Kate's life.

  • Accept the plan - You accept Conrad's plan. This equals betraying Clementine and saving Gabe.
  • Shoot Conrad - You kill Conrad, saving both Gabe and Clementine.

Choosing the first option will have you accept Conrad's proposition, Clem will be captured and brought to New Frontier. By doing this you will completely betray her trust, which you'll hear from her during a short conversation. In this episode, though, there will be no direct consequences to your decision. If you decide to shoot Conrad instead, you'll lie to the rest of the group that he was unable to escape from the walkers.

The last, fifth important choice will take place at the end of the sixth chapter - Important choices | Episode 2 - Episode 2: Ties that Bind - Part 2 - The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier Game Guide

The last, fifth important choice will take place at the end of the sixth chapter. You have to decide whether you keep your arms, or hand them over to prove your good will.

  • Keep your guns - Refuse
  • Drop your guns - Disarm yourself

No matter your choice, the episode ends here. The person you're talking to will call their boss, the leader of New Frontier, who turns out to be... David. Your brother.
