In The Sims Mobile, as in any game of the series, you can date your sims and develop relationships. Additionally, there's also the story option. When you enter level 2 of a relationship, you can select the story of that relation. This will determine the kinds of interactions the sims will be allowed to perform. If your characters are antagonists, they will hate each other and keep fighting. If they're soulmates, they will go to dates and it will all be hunky-dory.
