Just like in any The Sims game, your sim can work and develop its career in The Sims Mobile. There are seven careers to choose from, with most of them having ten levels.
Each of them provides some money and other rewards. At the beginning, working part-time, you will earn 45 simoleons and get 30 work points; full-time is 135 simoleons and 90 points, and the long shift is worth 270 cash and 180 points. Additionally, you get a 50% better chance of buying a house.
Only at level 5 will your salary increase. That will be, respectfully: 112 simoleons and 75 for short shift, 135 and 90 for normal, and 270 with 180 work points for long one. Additionally, you get a 50% better chance of buying a house.

Barista Career
The barista is the first available career. You will be working in a coffee shop. Your responsibility will be making coffee, entertaining the clients and talking to the boss. The career will grant you a few basic kitchen tools. The barista career only has 5 levels. You make the same amount of money, though.
Culinary Career
After reaching level 8, you can become a cook. Your workplace will be located on the Market Square. Advancing in this job will have you save the restaurant, which is on the brink of bankruptcy. This career will grant you access to a few other pieces of kitchen equipment, such as a countertop.
Medical Career
You unlock the hospital at level 12. It's also located on the Market Square. The sim can become a famous physician. The career will grant you access to a treadmill, a pile of towels and a poser.
Fashion Career
At level 10, you can unlock a fashion workplace in the Market Square. The career will yield a dresser, a mirror and some clothes.
Business Career
After reaching the 15th level, you can unlock the city center. One of the places there is the Agency. You can start an office career there. This career will yield a shelf and two posters. You need to pay 2450 simoleons to unlock the Agency.
Law Career
Right next to the Agency is the Government Center. You also have to pay 2450 simoleons to unlock it. You can become a famous lawyer. Your feather-in-the-hat case will be the mysterious vanishing of a sweater. You can get chess, a pawn and dining room chairs for this career.
DJ Career
The center also has a club that's only available at level 23. The access to the club also costs 2450 simoleons. You can become a DJ there. The career yields a speaker, a poster and a hifi. This is the most expensive workplace right now, but you make the same amount of money here.
ASOS Fashion Forecast
After getting 1000 ASOS points, you will unlock a fashion story. After you get 1000 points, you can buy some ASOS clothes. The ASOS Fashion Forecast has 10 levels and unlocks 6 awards. It takes place in the fashion workshop.
ASOS Fashion Focused
During an ASOS event in The Sims Mobile, you need to score 3,000 points to unlock the ASOS Fashion Focused story. When you score 3,000 points, you must buy ASOS clothes for them. ASOS Focused History has 10 levels and unlocks 6 awards.
Focused and Fearless
With the ASOS brand event, the creators have added a new career to The Sims Mobile. Any sim can be a photographer and does not need to have any special skills. However, you must score 2000 points at ASOS events. You can start your career in the Studio, on the market. This career offers the same earnings as the rest. During your development you will receive three subjects taken out of your photographic studio.
The career can only be unlocked during the ASOS event.
