Fay is still very good. Her Ultra Combo is very dangerous, even works on enemies that are in the air. She has a few strong attacks against flying opponents, and her throws take a lot of energy. The key to success is the appropriate timing and use of specials, because Rose combos are not too strong.

Normal Moves

• d+HP - Anti Air Punch

Very good attack for flying opponents. Can be easily a part of combo.

• d+MK - Crouching Medium Punch

Not so good as in SF Alpha but is still great combo starter.

• d+HK - Sweep

Good range and speed.

Special Moves

• t, dt, d, dp, p+P - Soul Spark

Not very useful fireball. Use MP version in combos because of power and the lowest delay.

• t, dt, t+P - Soul Reflect

This move do not "suck" Ex fireballs.

• p, d, dp+P - Soul Throw

Ex Moves

• t, dt, d, dp, p+2xP - Ex Soul Spark
• d, dp, p+2xK - Ex Soul Spiral
• d, dt, t+2xP - Ex Soul Reflect
• p, d, dp+2xP - Ex Soul Throw

Super Combo

• d, dp, p, d, dp, p+3xP - Aura Soul Spark

Ultra Combo

• d, dp, p, d, dp, p+3xP - Illusion Spark

Great Ultra Combo, working even on jumping enemies (timing). Take a lot of energy but is hard to use it in combo.

Combo

• HK (from the air), MP (crouching), cancel Soul Spiral.
• HK (from the air), MP (crouching), cancel Soul Spiral, cancel Super Combo.
• HK (from the air), MP (crouching), Cancel MP Soul Spark, cancel Focus Attack 2, Ultra Combo
• LP (crouching), LP (crouching), LP (crouching), Soul Spiral.
