Utility Vehicles (class D,E,K) | Vehicles in Spintires MudRunner Tips and hints Spintires MudRunner Guide
Vehicles: K-700, D-535 and D-537 and E-7310.
Last update: 08 December 2017
Utility vehicles for special tasks. Their biggest upside are their powerful engines. Used for special tasks such as travelling on a difficult terrain, transporting goods to inaccessible areas, loading timber, or saving other vehicles from water or mud.
K-700
A timber loader. Has a powerful engine and large, wide tires. Doesn't get submerged in even the biggest mud. A suitable choice for a rescue vehicle. Visit a garage to exchange the loader for the hitch and mount one of three small trailers (for timber, garage points, or fuel and repair points)
K-700's bigger downside is large fuel consumption and a large turning radius. The vehicle's unique features result in larger turning space than the other vehicles. Start turning the wheels before accelerating. You'll need five progression points to have it in your starting setup. Fortunately, the vehicle appears on the map during almost any scenario.
D-535 and D-537
Heavy transporting vehicles able to overcome any obstacle. Both vehicles have powerful engines that can get them out from any mud, cross rivers, or climb rocky ledges. Each vehicle is equipped with 8 powerful wheels that can overpower any obstacle. Moreover, class D has an activated differential lock that increase its handling in deep mud. D-535 and D-537 are capable of carrying timber and/or can work as rescue vehicles.
Their biggest downside is availability. D-535 can be encountered from time to time on the map, while D-537 requires five progression points. Moreover, both models have larger turning radius than classic trucks and their fuel consumption is high. Finally, there are not many add-ons which you can install, while the trucks themselves can carry up to 6 units of timber (3+3).
E-7310
The biggest and the baddest vehicle found in the game. A real player. Your problems with mud will end the moment you've spent 6 progression points on E-7310. It sports a powerful engine, 8 large and wide tires and 1000 durability points. You can transport a cargo of 4 timber points, install a fuel cistern, or carry 2 garage points. Works great as a rescuer, capable of saving any vehicle.
Even if the vehicle has a 800 litre fuel tank, it may quickly turn out that this amount is rather meagre as the vehicle burns through fuel quickly. Not suitable to asphalt roads thanks to an activated differential lock. E-7310 is unlocked at the end of the game, which makes it more of an oddity than a useful vehicle - you probably won't use it as your main tool to transport timber.
