Trailers or semi-trailers, best tips
Last update:
A practical choice - a truck with a trailer can transport the same amount of timber as a truck with a long semi-trailer (3+3 vs 6). As the game progresses, you'll often be left with the choice whether to deploy a truck with a trailer or to utilize a long semi-trailer.
A truck with a trailer handles better in difficult terrain. Trailers are light and maneuver easily. They may flip, but you can flip them back easily using your winch or by accelerating your truck. Semi-trailers require more space, are harder to maneuver, and have larger turning radius. On the other hand, driving backwards with a semi-trailer is easier than driving with a trailer.
Semi-trailers offer more transport capability, but trailers are better if you want to have a varied cargo. For example, the truck rides with timber, while the trailer contains additional fuel and garage points. You can simply disconnect and leave the trailer once you've used all of its cargo.
A semi-trailer is a better choice if you want to deliver a lot of cargo on a simple, flat route. The weight and the size of the load will make driving difficult, but you'll be able to deliver a lot of points with a single drive. Choose a trailer when facing a difficult course. Finally, both rigs enable you to attach a second trailer and create an extended rig that can deliver up to 9 points of timber!
