Light Trucks (class B) | Vehicles in Spintires MudRunner Tips and hints Spintires MudRunner Guide
Vehicles: B-130, B-131, B-66.
Last update: 08 December 2017
Class B mostly consists of four-wheeled trucks. Weak engines, yet characteristic for a large amount of available add-ons. The problem appears when you want to use the heaviest trailers in a difficult terrain. It often turns out that light trucks won't be able to make it, especially when the vehicle has been stuck in mud. Useful as supporting vehicles or when transporting small amounts of goods.
You begin the game with B-130, which is the weakest truck in the class. B-131 is a more powerful version of its predecessor, while B-66 is a special truck that cannot carry timber, but works well in difficult terrain.
B-130
One of the first trucks which is a reward for completing the first map. B-130 offers a large set of add-ons which can be installed - timber, garage points, fuel, or repairs. The vehicle is not equipped with a differential lock or an all-wheel drive - big downsides. You'll quickly switch this vehicle to a different one. On the upside, fuel consumption is quite low. Costs only a single star.
B-131
Bigger and better. Has 6 wheels, a better engine, and an all-wheel drive. Aside from the above, B-131 can carry almost any add-on or trailer. Still not the best vehicle there is - B-131 may encounter problems when carrying heavier items. Costs two stars, which makes it a good choice, especially during levels where you can choose three vehicles.
B-66
Unusual vehicle. Has an all-wheel drive and an activated differential lock which increases its drivability. Moreover, the vehicle is quite steerable and light. You can install four add-ons: garage cart, spare wheel, utility attachment, or garage utility tent which is the most useful, as it contains a supply of fuel, repair points and a single garage point. The biggest downside is the inability to carry timber. Requires 3 progression points to unlock.
