The Many Asses of Dr. Mephesto | Main Missions Walkthrough South Park: The Fractured But Whole Guide

Together with your companions go to Mephesto's Genetic Lab located in the north-western part of the map. Upon reaching your destination you will watch a cutscene, after which you have to wait for a little while until Morgan Freeman tells you what to do next. After that, approach the yellow AC vent and use the TimeFart Shift technique.

You can use the yellow containers to deal additional damage to your opponents.

Cats are the first opponents you have to deal with at the lab. Eliminate them one after another as soon as possible, as each one has the ability to strengthen the entire group. Save your strengths, as there are more enemies to join this battle later on.

You can get rid of the acid from the floor the same way you did with lava.

Next, there is a simple puzzle waiting for you. You can get rid of the acid on the floor with Toolshed's help. Then, open the glass door with Professor Chaos' help and pass the lasers by using the FartPause. Take out a container from inside and mount it in the opening to the right.

In the next room, there are the mutated sixth graders you have to face. You can avoid this battle by opening the door with Butters' help. Before you go to the other side of the room, press the red buttons - the effect will draw enemies' attention and they will not attack you while you will be leaving the room. Then, you meet the Coon - during the cutscene, you have to take a picture of the board behind him.

Try pushing the enemies onto the red squares - after the gauge is full, the layout of the red squares will change.

Upon reaching the next corridor, pay attention to the grey pinwheels, as they are quite easy to miss - it will allow you to go over a large hole in the floor. Another battle involves many opponents, however, they are not that strong. Pay attention to the gauge at the bottom of the screen - after it gets full, all characters standing on the red squares receive damage (app. 100 health points). It is a good idea to have e.g. Mysterion and other heroes able to push/pull/switch places with the enemies. During your turn, you can easily wait for the gauge to get full for the enemy to receive damage.

Another room: you can find your parents here. You need to kill one of them (cut your father's head off or rip your mother's arm off). You finally do it after three attempts. This does not affect the later events in the game or the ending itself.

Fighting the final boss - cousin Kyle

This is the last fight during this stage of the game. The key to success lies in keeping the New Kid alive and choosing the right allies for the battle - in this case, it is best if you choose the most resistant allies able to inflict negative effects upon the opponents. It is a good idea to use Call Girl (she lowers the enemy defense and is able to attack from anywhere on the arena) and Captain Diabetes (perform the Insulin Shot attack and get a strong shield which levels enemy attacks - because of this, Captain can take all the hits on himself).

The key to defeating the boss lies in using multiple effects which decrease his health level with time.

After you deal the first damage you will get the option to use the TimeFart Shift. After doing so, the gauge at the bottom of the screen is filling up indicating the time when you can attack the opponent. Kyle is vulnerable to the basic effects: bleeding, burning, grossing out, etc. The effects such as freezing, charming, confusion do not work on him. The effects are the key to dealing as much damage as possible.
