Can you disable PvP or create a private session in the RDO game? Red Dead Online Guide and Tips
Last update: 14 December 2018
Playing Red Dead Online can be irritating when you are constantly getting killed, or mission progress is interrupted by other players. Sometimes, besides shooting others, you want to take part in other activities like stranger mission or simply fish in peace. Is there any possibility to play alone and disable pvp?
Can you disable pvp or create a private session in RDO?
Unfortunately, it's not possible. You can't disable pvp, which means you'll always be a target for other players. It can be frustrating, but there is one thing you can do - when another player has it out for you, you can turn off the possibility to fight them for 10 minutes. It's worth playing RDO with other players and forming a posse - you're harder to kill and it's easier to do missions that way.
You can't create a private lobby either. Sometimes when accepting a stranger mission, a bug occurs, which throws you to the private session. This will probably be fixed in the next updates. In Red Dead Online you're bound to other players' presence.
