How to unlock
Fast travel will be unlocked after talking to Hollis - you'll find her on the second level: The Motherlobe. Hollis will give you the task to properly sort the mail.
Right after you leave her office, you're gonna run into Lili. She'll show you how fast you can move around the resort. Just use the tunnels, located in different parts of the map.
Effect
Once you unlock fast travel, you'll be able to use it at any time. All you have to do is interact at the point where the tunnels start and you'll get access to a few places you can move to.
Thanks to this tip, you can move around the resort quickly and smoothly.. However, note that the resort area contains a lot of secrets that are worth collecting.
