In Poppy Playtime, you have to be careful from the beginning of the game. Already in the first minutes you will meet Mommy Long Legs. On this page we have described how to reach her and how not to die at her hands.

On this page of the guide to Poppy Playtime you will find a walkthrough of Part 1 of Chapter 2. You will reach the station where you will meet Mommy Long Legs for the first time.
White door
You will start by walking down a narrow hallway. You are safe in the apartment - nothing will happen there. You can safely explore the area. However, if you want to move the story further, pass by the dollhouse and the wardrobe on the right side of the corridor and open the white door. You won't be able to return once you go through it.
Finding the key
Once you go through the white door, you will find yourself in another hallway. You have to watch your step. When you see holes in the floor, look for poles near the ceiling. Pull up with one of your hands (just hold down the right or left mouse button while focusing the camera on the object) and jump to the other side of the rift.
At the end of the hallway you will see a white door covered with colorful barrels. You have to push them away with your hands to open the passage.
There's a key behind the open door. Simpl reach out with your hand as far as you can (click the right or left mouse button while focusing on the object), and collect the key, which will go straight into your inventory.
Office
Use the key to open the red door to the office. You can either explore it (you're safe here), or go further right away. To push the story forward, you have to grab the vent grid with your hands and yank it. This will open the passage. Jump in and go down to the lower floor.
You have to restore power downstairs. Don't forget that your hands have magical abilities and can conduct electricity between objects. First, grab the part on top, wrap your hands around the columns, and then hit the red spot on the right side of the screen with your other hand. This will activate the passage to the upper floor. You have to jump into the shaft and return to the top.
Power supply
Go right when you leave the office. There, you will see the passage that you have activated by connecting the electricity. Put your hands in the correct spots and wait for the door to open.
Keep going until you reach a huge crack in the ground. Again, if you come across a hole in the floor while walking down the hallways, look for a bar that will allow you to jump over it. If you want to explore the area, stay away from the crack in the ground - it will push the story forward and you will be moved to a different place in the building.
Once you fall to the lower level, go straight to the room labeled POWER. You have to turn on the power - connect the dots in the correct way to do it. The Screenshot above shows the most effective way to transfer the current.
Mommy Long Legs
Once you turn on the power, go to the hallway that's glowing red. When you put your red hand on a point of the same color, you will meet Mommy Long Legs for the first time.
As a result of this encounter, you will lose your right, red hand. From now on, you have to use only one hand.
