Solo Extraction in Delta Force is a bad experience. Players want a dedicated singleplayer mode
It seems that Delta Force has some problems with balance. Players would like to see a solo option in extraction mode.
Free to play Delta Force gathered hundreds of players. It seems that not all of them enjoy the gameplay, at least it looks that way if you check reviews on Steam, which are mixed. Of course, some of bad opinions are because of technical issues. The game has some problems with performance, crashes and connection. However, we can’t say that all negative reviews are because of them. There are other issues, too. For example, Hazard Operations, which is Delta Force extraction mode, is not balanced for solo players.

Singleplayer campaign in Delta Force is still in the works. However, it will be available in January 2025. Until it is done, though, players looking for solo experience most likely join Hazard Operations, as the extraction mode is closest to what they want. However, many people have problems with it and want dedicated solo matches. Why is that?
At the beginning of the extraction run, you can choose not to fill the lobby. If you do that, you will play alone. The problem is that the game does not send you to the mission with similar, solo players. You have to face other teams, of which many have full squads of 3 teammates. It makes the game much more difficult. At the same time, players complain that joining “randoms” is not satisfying and not the kind of experience they want from the game.
It seems that developers are listening to players, at least partially, as alongside campaign, they plan to add a new mission, Operation Serpentine, which will launch January 1, it seems that it is fully PvE experience. The mode is already tested so we know a lot about it. It is not a typical extraction mission, as you can’t loot bodies. Moreover, some people are arguing that it is still developed for coop, as there are too many opponents for a solo player to enjoy the experience. So, if you are looking for a singleplayer, campaign might be your best bet for now (of course, when it will be released).
