Mirthwood is the new faming game, but with a little dark vibe. There are really eerie places here. Why I’m telling you that? Because if you want to get Iron, one of the basic resources, you will have to get close to some dangerous locations. Not everything can be bought with money.

How to Get Iron in Mirthwood

Iron is one of the basic resources and it is a key ingredient to craft better tools in Mirthwood. You can buy it, but far not enough to complete all projects. However, it can be quite challenging to find, especially if you don’t know where to look for it. The place you want to be in is Mulkwaler Marsh.

It is a region on the south of the map. Even below the town. You will immediately recognize entering it, as the colors will change, and the surrounding will become quite gloomy. As in the case of Copper, you need to look for big rocks. Of course, they can be quite difficult to find, but we are here to help.

Camp with Iron (red) and Mine (yellow).Mirthwood, developer: Bad Ridge Games

There is a camp (red marker) directly south of your house. There you will be able to sleep and cook (once unlocked, you can teleport to it using a road sign). However, what is the most important, there are some Iron ores around it. At the same time, it is a good place to start your search for other ones.

However, watch out. If you get too far into the swamps and too close to the forest, you will have to face quite dangerous creatures. They are fast, strong and do not give up. If you are not ready for combat, you should run to the city, as the NPCs will help you.

Alternatively, you can go north. There are some Iron ores scattered in Foothills, on the road to the mine (yellow marker). Watch out though, there are wolves on the path, too, and you will not be able to avoid them. At the same time, it is a long way to friendly NPCs (remember that animals are difficult to lose).
