How to get car in Helldivers 2
If you are unsure how to get your hands on a new, shiny car in Helldivers 2, here you will find all the information that you need. FRV is waiting for you to facilitate the spread of democracy.
Just like during the game, the events surrounding Helldivers 2 can get really hectic with ups and downs. Fortunately for the title, it’s in the upswing lately with the Golden Joystick Award, as well as TGA, for the best multiplayer game of the year, regaining trust of its fans by reaching 95% of positive reviews on Steam lately, and finally, getting a new expansion – Omens of Tyranny. Part of said update is “the car” - a reconnaissance vehicle that will introduce a whole lot of new, random mechanics to have fun with. However, the Fast Reconnaissance Vehicle, or FRV, is not available from the get-go. Here you will learn how to obtain it for you and your crew.
How to get the FRV in Helldivers 2
Getting new toys is always fun. Especially when those toys can spread democracy like no other. This time though, Super Earth High Command just teases us with the shiny new car, as it is not yet available as a Stratagem. How do you get the Fast Reconnaissance Vehicle though?
As of now, the only way to drive the Jeep is by finding it during one of your missions. To narrow down your search area, you have to know that it spawns only in the urban zones (or colonies, if you will), and it will be marked on your map as a car icon with a machine gun, so you can quickly beeline towards it.
This does not mean that you will always have to rely on finding it on the map. If you would like to contribute to the spread of democracy throughout the galaxy, you have to follow the Major Order that should be available soon. Completing it is said to autounlock the car, yet we will have to “fight a little bit for that” quoting Mikael Eriksson, the Game Director, in his interview with IGN.
