Gamers on Steam chose best games of 2024. Black Myth: Wukong dominates the list
Valve revealed the list of winners of the Steam Awards 2024. Platform users decided that the developers of Black Myth: Wukong will receive the statuette for best game of the year.
We have met the winners of the Steam Awards 2024. The biggest winner turned out to be Black Myth: Wukong, winning trophies for the best game of the year, as well as for the best storyline, and triumphing in the category "Best Game You Suck at Award."
The success isn't surprising because the awards are based on the votes of the players themselves, and this title turned out to be the biggest bestseller on Steam last year. The game is also deeply rooted in Chinese culture, and the platform's users from this country take pride in its achievements.
There was also no surprise in the matter of the best multiplayer game, where Helldivers 2 proved to be unrivaled. The Polish studio Bloober Team is pleased with the statuette for the best visual style for Silent Hill 2. The major surprise, however, is that in the "Most Innovative Gameplay Award," Liar's Bar emerged victorious, surpassing Balatro, which appeared to be a sure winner.
