Delta Force Caters to Players Who Don't Like to Start Everything Over and Over Again
The Delta Force developers are responding to the needs of players who are not fond of cyclical progress resets. The game will also receive several season pass variants to better suit the needs of the audience.
Team Jade – the team responsible for the extraction shooter Delta Force – met the expectations of players who don't like cyclical progress clearing. Therefore, at the end of each 3-month season, users will decide for themselves whether they will undergo the character reset (wipe).
This solution acknowledges those who lack the time or desire to painstakingly develop a character in extraction mode and instead prefer to retain all the upgrades of their virtual alter ego. To maintain balance, players who prefer the classic wipe will receive exclusive rewards and skills. One of them will be the ability to reincarnate into the body of a boss using powerful weapons. Thus, the developers at Team Jade followed in the footsteps of the Escape from Tarkov creators.
Delta Force will be released on PC on December 5th this year as part of Early Access. The shooter will offer a free-to-play model, but like other titles focused on online competition, it will be accompanied by a season pass. Interestingly, the devs will offer it to players in three variants. The first one (Operations) will focus on elements useful in the extraction mode, while the second one (Warfare) will bet on vehicle skins and experience tokens, which we will use during battles on vast battlefields. Both variants will cost $6.90 each.
The final option is the Deluxe edition, which is supposed to include the mentioned extras at a more favorable price of $9.60. In each of the paid options, a new look for the Shepard character will be available. The free version, on the other hand, is guaranteed to include, among others, an operator nicknamed Toxik.
