Medieval Dynasty: Settlement Medieval Dynasty guide, walkthrough

Last update: 26 February 2021

From this page of the Medieval Dynasty game guide you will learn how to build your own settlement. We provide information on what's necessary to build a settlement and when you'll be able to do it. We also explain how to manage your village and convince the NPCs to settle there.

Building your own, prosperous settlement filled with happy residents is one of the main goals of Medieval Dynasty. However, you do not have to rush this objective. The main storyline will guide you through all the necessary steps as soon as you reach the seventh quest. In the meantime, you should focus on gaining dynasty reputation points and earning the approval of other villagers, especially the homeless ones in search of a new home (when you initiate a conversation with them, you will have the option to invite them to your settlement).

Remember that the villagers may leave your settlement if they are feeling unhappy. Make sure to maintain the buildings in good condition and to fill the crates in their homes with food.

Recruiting villagers

To recruit villagers, you will need to meet certain conditions. During the seventh story quest, your task will be to build several buildings in your settlement. Don't forget to build a few houses, because every future resident of your village will need their own place to sleep.

You can recruit the homeless NPCs roaming the other settlements. Be sure to raise their approval rating above 70% before you select the corresponding dialogue option. Otherwise they will refuse to settle in your village. If they agree, the NPC will head towards your settlement, and new options related to the resident will become available in the management menu.

Managing villagers

After the NPC decides to join your village, you will need to assign them a home and a workplace in the management menu. The workplace determines the resources provided by a given NPC, e.g. a hunter assigned to a hunting lodge will earn you meat and skins.
