Last update: 16 October 2020

This section of the Medieval Dynasty guide has information on building objects in the game. We describe how to build your house and other buildings on the farm. We describe the resources and objects necessary for this and how to obtain them.

Building in Medieval Dynasty is like crafting on a larger scale, so the basic elements are in the same selection menu, under the Q key. Not all buildings are available right away. Some of them need the right amount of points for a particular technology.

Required tools and resources

In the beginning, to build, you will need a wooden hammer and a lot of materials. Here's how to get them:

Wooden Hammer

If you don't have it in your inventory yet, you can create a Wooden Hammer immediately by pressing the Q key, selecting crafting, and then the name of the tool. You will need a log and 10 sticks to craft it.

Then stand over the tree to continue chopping it into logs. The character should keep doing a powerful overhead swing, however, any hits to the stump count. After a few swings, the tree will break down into several logs (depending on the type). Pick them up and remember that you probably won't lift more than six or seven logs at the same time. Every time you break a tree into logs, you will automatically collect some sticks.
