What are hidden cars and why find them?
Hidden cars are unique car models that can't be found on the streets of Lost Heaven. Every car of this type is hidden in one garage on the map. A found car is added to Tommy's garage. You can find 5 hidden cars.
The main reason to find all hidden cars is to unlock 2 trophies/achievements - On the Trail and Car Thief Number One. Each of the hidden cars has good performance making them a great choice if you want to explore the map or do side or main missions (only those that let you choose a vehicle from Tommy's garage).
How to find hidden cars?
You can look for hidden cars in the Free Ride mode – more about it in a separate chapter of the guide. This mode, according to the name, allows you to explore the map without any restrictions and missions.
If you want, you can immediately go to the locations described in the following pages of this chapter. However, you can also find out how the game hints at where to look for hidden cars. In Free Ride mode, you can visit Bertone's Auto Service. It is located in Downtown – you can remember this place form the Fairplay main mission.
After entering the workshop (find the small door next to the locked gate), Tommy will talk to Lucas Bertone. Go to the postcard board. You can take all 5 postcards – these items also serve as collectibles.
Postcards are tips on where to look for hidden cars. You can see each postcard in detail in the collectibles tab. The front of each postcard contains a photo and the name of the location/district where the car can be found (example in picture 1).
The back of each postcard has a word puzzle, which is an additional clue for finding a hidden car (example in picture 2).

In addition to finding the 5 hidden cars listed above, you can also get several other bonus vehicles. These are linked to selected side missions, which are described in the Free Ride Mode missions section.
