Detailed mission walkthrough:

New objective: Get To The Rooftop

This is also going to be a difficult mission, mostly because there won't be too many checkpoints for you to use. Thankfully, the first part of this assignment is very simple. You should be able to reach several balconies. Here's where you'll come across enemy soldiers. I would recommend surprising them.

Allow Lynch to get here. He should automatically start firing at enemy units, including soldiers occupying lower levels of the building. You should focus on the upper floor (screen). There are at least two guards out there. Obviously you should be using pillars for better cover, however you won't sustain any major injuries here.

Keep going towards your current destination. You won't come across any opponents until you've reached a small corridor (screen). Neutralize one of the enemy soldiers and proceed to the staircase. You must head on to the upper floor.

Once you've reached the higher floor, turn right and kill a single enemy unit. Now you should consider hiding behind a nearby wall. You should be able to take out several other hostiles from here (screen) and you won't have to fire too many bullets, because they aren't carrying any armors. I would recommend taking an assault rifle from one of them. Keep heading towards your current destination.

You will have to find a new passageway which is going to be located to your right (screen). Going there will allow you to get to the roof of this building. Start off by killing several guards. There should be three of them. Thankfully, you can ask Lynch to help you, however you will have to leave him once they're gone.

New objective: Take Out The BTRs

You will have to be crouching here in order to prevent Kane from losing a lot of health points and maybe even his life. Make sure that Lynch stayed somewhere behind, because he can't help you here. Head on towards one of the corners of the roof (screen). Pick up a rocket launcher along the way.

Look at the screen if you want to find out exactly where to search for armored vehicles. Start off by moving to your right, so you will only have to face off against the left BTR unit. The idea of winning this battle is very simple. Use your rocket launcher to fire missiles at each vehicle. Hide after successful shots. You will have to hit each of the BTR units at least three times. Black smoke means it's disabled, so you won't have to attack such a vehicle anymore.
