Knowing the requirements of potential buyers is one of the most crucial aspects of the game when playing in free mode and renovating houses on your own. This chapter describes all of the potential buyers in House Flipper, coupled with their hidden characteristics.

By using the tablet, you can check the characteristics of the potential clients in the Buyers tab. Those are discovered with time, by experimenting with renovations. For instance, by placing a toy, you will learn that people that have children are favorable towards it, but others will absolutely dislike it. The following list presents all of those characteristics and additional hints on how to quickly, easily and cheaply satisfy those needs.

During the renovations, you will witness images of buyers on the left side of the screen. When you modify the building with a thing that affects them, positively or negatively, you will see up/down arrows and a short comment from the person.

To finish the work and continue to the summary, you just need to press Enter. You will see a summary of the gathered characteristics of people that are willing to purchase your house and their prices. Satisfying the needs of buyers increases the amount of money they are willing to spend. You also need to remember that even if you renovated the house in a way to satisfy a student, he/she will not be able to pay more than a businessman, even if the needs of the latter are satisfied only partially. You need to plan renovations and refrain from spending money on unnecessary things and try to please the needs of certain clients. You should be certain, once going into the summary screen, that the renovation was completed in accordance to the needs of the clients. Canceling the auction will result in a small financial penalty (a percentage of the total value) and will increase if you cancel it again. However, sometimes it is a good idea to cancel it, especially if you skipped on multiple needs of a client, allowing you to easily make up for it and increase the value of the house.

Note that often the comments of the clients (what do they like and what not) come with an irony (like, for instance, Jimmy Traitor, telling you that he would like to have a TV in every room in the "doesn't like" tab, even though that in the "likes" tab there is an information that he wants in only in the living room.
