In Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, starting from 2018, it is possible to develop friendships with students outside of main and side quests. During your stay at the school grounds, you unlock areas where you can hang out with friends.
What can be gained by a growing friendship?
Depending on how advanced your friendship is, different bonuses are available.
- Levels from 1 to 4 - 5 gems,
- Levels 4 and 5 - 5 energy points,
- Levels 6, 7, 8 - 10 energy points,
- Higher Levels - from 15 to 20 energy points.
Where to hang out with friends?
You can make your friends like you more in three different places in the game. We described all of the areas below, at the same time, providing the information on the precise location, the cooldown timers, and ways of unlocking them in the first place.
Meal with a Friend - you can dine together in the Great Hall, on the Lower Floor - West. There, you can eat together with friends and have conversations. You can have a shared meal every 8 hours. This option unlocks during the second school year.
Play Gobstones - you can play gobstones with friends during the first year of school in the Courtyard on the Lower Floor - West. You can play the game every 16 hours.
Drink Butterbeer - you can bring your friends to the Tree Broomsticks during year 3 of your school education. This establishment is available to be used by the players every 16 hours.
Character Creation
Every event plays out in a similar manner. You have to properly answer the questions asked by the other students. The better your answers, the more friendship points you get.
But remember - if level gets higher it's much more difficult to get points.
