A sandbox platform game by indie studio Re-Logic, sometimes called the 2D version of the popular Minecraft. There is no set goal; your task is basically to shape the randomly-generated world around you. At first you only have a few basic tools, which allow you to dig and find resources, chop wood, and create simple structures. As the game progresses, due to the extensive crafting system, you discover better tools, allowing you to create advanced materials and to fight monsters.

An action 2D platform game starring a sympathetic creature of a protagonist. The game was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and is the fifth full-fledged installment in the series created by Michel Ancel. This time the titular protagonist and his friend Globox must face nightmares which have created amazing worlds during the 100 years they have spent in the Crossroads of Dreams. Rayman must also free the Teensies captured by the clone of the deceptive Magician.

RPG canceled

A science-fiction roguelike RPG with tower defense elements, developed by the independent studio Amplitude. The players take on the role of prisoners sent to the planet of Auriga to atone for their crimes. The ship ends up crashing, with the survivors ending up in an ancient underground complex they must escape.

A new version of the extensive editor that lets players create and share levels for the Super Mario Bros. series, developed for the Wii U console. We create two-dimensional platform stages using well-known elements from 8-bit Super Mario Bros. or its HD successor, Super Mario Bros U. We choose both environmental parts (pipes, brick etc.) and enemies. All of it is very simple and requires only the touchpad to operate.

Refreshed version of the highly acclaimed action adventure game. The player directs the actions of a young scientist - Lester Knight Knight Chaykin, who, as a result of an unsuccessful experiment, finds himself in a dangerous and alien world.

The title is the first representative of the series on the Wii U console and has an extensive library of more than 70 licensed works from anime, games, series and popular films in the Land of the Cherry Blossom.

An expanded version of a popular indie game that has been released in 2011 by Team Meat studio. Nicalis studio, a bit more experienced team, has been involved in refreshing of the title, in cooperation with original developers. When it comes to mechanics, the gameplay hasn’t changed much, offering randomly-generated levels, traversed by the titular Isaac, who solves simple puzzles and eliminates monsters or much more powerful bosses.

Set in Norse mythology, an independent action game with an arcade combat system. Jotun is a Kickstarter project. The title was initially released on PC, then published on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U as an expanded edition called Jotun: Valhalla Edition featuring an additional game mode. Players are told the story of a Viking warrior named Thora who died an inglorious death. Before she passes through the gates of Valhalla, she needs to prove her worth to the Gods.

The second installment of the Street Fighter Alpha sub-series, a continuation of Capcom's best-selling series of two-dimensional battles. A gallery of characters known from the first part of the series returns in the game, although there are also a few new ones. The creators also introduced a number of modifications to the combat mechanics known from the original.

Another game by Tomorrow Corporation, combining the mechanics of logic games with a rather serious topic (rarely occurs in the genre) and unique visuals. The player assumes the role of a corporate worker who begins their long way to the top, having taken up the lowest job position on the 1st floor. Each in-game level represents a year of work in the corporation, when the protagonist has to complete a certain task from their superior.

RPG canceled

A retro-style action RPG that takes inspiration from 8- and 16-bit console titles. Hyper Light Drifter is set in a fantasy world with some science-fiction elements. Player becomes one of the Drifters - the seekers of forgotten technology. He embarks on a journey to dangerous land in order to find a cure for his deadly disease. The gameplay in Hyper Light Drifter is based mainly on exploration and dynamic combat, featuring many tactical options.

A two-dimensional combination of a platformer and a logical game, taking place in a black-and-white world modelled on M.C.'s illusionist paintings. Escher. Players must show perceptiveness and understanding of the twisted laws of physics, functioning on levels that are impossible to reproduce in reality, in order to move the hero from one end to the other.

Child of Light is a 2D RPG that combines the elements of modern platformers and Japanese role-playing games. It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal, a subsidiary of Ubisoft which also collaborated in the development of Far Cry and Assassin Creed games. Child of Light tells the story of Aurora, a young girl who has to save the kingdom of Lemuria. When playing, we influence Aurora's development and witness her rough journey to adulthood.

Strategy canceled

C-Wars is an unusual real-time strategy in which we have to fight off the zombie invasion by commanding the lunar colony's forces of order. Battles are played on squared boards, the colors of which determine which units we can call them.

New Super Luigi U is a stand-alone supplement to the 2012 edition of New Super Mario Bros platformer, produced by the Nintendo EAD development team. U. Expansion, whose main character is a nice plumber in a green suit, introduces new boards and playable characters.

Boogerman 20th Anniversary is a remake of a platformer created by Interplay in 1994. The reedition refreshed the two-dimensional graphic design, preserving the plot and the general model of the game from the original. Again we play the role of the title character Boogerman, who has to travel through six worlds in an unclean alternative dimension and defeat the evil Booger Meister.

Swords & Soldiers II is the second game in the unusual strategy game series developed by Ronimo Games. Once again, the plot focuses on Redbeard and his gang of Vikings who venture on a dangerous journey. What makes Swords & Soldiers II stand out among other similar games are the mechanics. Gameplay mixes the elements from RTS', side-scrolling arcades, and tower defense games. The game focuses on the rivalry between the two enemies whose bases are located on the opposite sides of the map.

Arcade independent game, in which we play in Narwale (a kind of cetaceans). Players stand up for battles taking place in space arenas. The game is designed for multiplayer and takes place in several modes. Gameplay is simple, but the creators have taken care of elements that add variety to the clashes, such as destructible obstacles.

Six Miles Under is a debut project of the independent Polish studio Looney Bin Studios. We are talking about a beat 'em up platform skill, characterized by two-dimensional graphics in an interesting style and postapocalyptic realities. As Preston Trencher, a former bodyguard, we cross the underground city and eliminate dozens of opponents standing on our way to revenge.

An unusual adventure game by Funkatronic Labs, combining elements of platformer and turn-based strategy productions. The plot of Nova-111 revolves around the effects of an experiment conducted by 111 ingenious scientists from an alternate world, where time flows in turns. The result of their actions is an anomaly that merged both worlds. As a pilot of the research vessel Nova, we have to find and rescue the scientists and to remove the anomaly to separate the dimensions.

As in the previous parts, we are dealing here with a classical music game, in which to the rhythm of music we hit the virtual taiko drums. A brutal, dynamic action game set in a fantasy world. It was developed by DrinkBox - a studio popular for such games as Mutant Blobs Attack or Guacamelee. The player assumes the role of a female warrior who realizes that she has lost her left arm. Traversing a land full of magic, fantasy civilizations and ancient ruins, the protagonist tries to discover the truth behind the mutilation.

Minimalistic 2D platformer, produced by independent Carlsen Games studio. The player's task is to guide a small geometric figure through the board full of obstacles, whose appearance changes to the rhythm of the music played. The game received the Independence Game Festival 2013 award for soundtrack.

Action 01 September 2016

An indie game by an experienced developer, who has worked on such productions as End of Nations, Tiger Woods, and NFL Street. In Axiom Verge you play as a man called Trace, who dies and is reborn in a fantasy world, where futuristic and archaic technologies blend. Trace quickly asserts that the new environment and the beings inhabiting it are trying to kill him. The protagonist explores locations filled with traps and enemies as he runs, jumps, and shoots with a gun.
