A debut production of the independent studio Dim Bulb Games set up by Johnnemann Nordhagen – the gaming industry veteran who has worked on e.g. BioShock 2. The title is set in American folklore, and the plot focuses on traveling and the stories connected with it. During gameplay, you interact with other voyagers and diverse communities, like migrants from Europe, native Americans, and black slaves.

Adventure canceled

An atmospheric platformer game with logic elements, referencing classic noir movies in terms of style. Renoir is the debut project of the independent studio Souldbound Games that secured necessary funding thanks to a crowdfunding campaign at Kickstarter. In the game, we assume the role of an experienced detective, James Renoir, who is to solve his last case.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 provides a continuation to an unusual game created by Scott Cawthon and awarded a series of prizes - it was considered the most original horror title of 2014. In this second installment, the player takes on the role of a new watchman working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Despite the warnings received from his predecessor, he decided to give it a try and stay at the restaurant overnight.

The fourth and final installment of the independent horror game series by Scott Cawthon. In Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, we have to face the murderous animatronic toys yet again. Compared to its predecessors, the title's gameplay formula has been changed. While plying, we do not assume the role of a security guard anymore, but a small child that has to survive the five eponymous nights in his own home which is overrun by bloodthirsty toys.

It is the first large game developed by the Polish studio Jujubee known mostly for its futuristic racing series Flashout. The story of the game focuses on the mysterious disaster of the Russian submarine K-141 Kursk which sank during the summer of 2000 on the Barents Sea. It was never determined what caused the incident.

A first-person action-adventure game created by nDreams (a British developer), specifically for VR sets. The game is set in a secret research laboratory located somewhere in the deserts of Nevada. Here, far away from civilization, incredible government experiments are conducted by the titular organization that gathers scientists who tend to choose progress over ethics. However, when the scientists lose control of a deadly virus, the future of the Assembly becomes problematic.

An interactive adventure horror game from visual novel genre and a third entry in Zero Escape series, created ChunSoft in cooperation with Aksys Games. It takes place in Martian research facility, ordered to survey reactions of people locked and isolated from the rest of the world. Gameplay doesn’t differ much from that of previous parts of the series and presents fans with well-known characters.

An action-adventure game from Spiral House studio, set in 1950 in Northern Europe. Player takes control of two characters – a boy named Otto and a big Troll. As the village of the first protagonist is destroyed by a mysterious cataclysm, they set on a journey to find a new home for him. Most of the game comes down to exploring locations, solving simple puzzles and fighting or avoiding enemies.

The game was developed by the German team at Crytek (famous for the best-selling Crysis series) and designed to support virtual reality technology. The story is set on an unknown distant planet combining tropical flora with prehistoric fauna embodied by powerful dinosaurs. The surface of the planet is littered with remnants of technologically advanced but now extinct civilization.

An unusual adventure game by Funkatronic Labs, combining elements of platformer and turn-based strategy productions. The plot of Nova-111 revolves around the effects of an experiment conducted by 111 ingenious scientists from an alternate world, where time flows in turns. The result of their actions is an anomaly that merged both worlds. As a pilot of the research vessel Nova, we have to find and rescue the scientists and to remove the anomaly to separate the dimensions.

Adventure canceled

A first-person science-fiction adventure game and the debut project of Mindfield Games, an independent Finnish studio. The story of P.O.L.L.E.N. takes us to an alternative version of the 90s, when a combination of the American and Russian space programs resulted in a rapid progress in the field. The player assumes the role of a new employee of Rama Industries, a company that builds a base on one of the Saturn’s moons.

The plot of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony tells the story of a kidnapped high school student named Kaede Akamatsu. Together with other students, he is taken to a school called Gifted Inmates Academy. The academy’s director is a teddy bear named Monokuma.

The action of Zombie Vikings begins in the moment when the mischievous god Loki decides to steal the last, magical eye of Odin, who in turn resurrects four disgusting zombie-Vikings and tasks them with reclaiming the stolen item.

A two-dimensional action adventure game created by Thomas Brush (who worked for Atmos Games), the creator of such free games as Coma! and Skinny!. Pinstripe focuses on two important topics: faith and fatherhood. The player assumes the role of a former pastor, named Teddy, whose daughter was kidnapped by a mysterious creature which calls itself God. The player starts chasing the creature and soon reaches the hell – surprisingly covered with ice.

Someday You'll Return is an adventure horror story designed for PlayStation 4. Players take on the role of the father looking for his missing daughter in the gloomy Czech forest. The action is observed from the protagonist's eyes, and the game consists mainly in exploring the three-dimensional environment, collecting objects and solving riddles.

The protagonist of this game is Franklin Fargo, a PhD of physics kidnapped by a shady organization. The game begins when he wakes up in a mysterious facility, already under the alias of Subject 13. As you might guess, from there on the main task of his is to escape. The gameplay is based on exploration of 3D environments and interaction with its elements.

The new edition was developed by Double Fine Production, a studio led by Tim Schafer, the co-author of the original title. Core of the gameplay is exploring and solving logical puzzles, which mainly consist of repairing various equipment which allows us to keep ourselves alive in space.
